Home Early From School...

This is what happens when you get out of school early, due to inclement weather. I picked her up after lunch, before "rest time"! Funny, she tells me she doesn't close her eyes at nap time, in school!!! I might not believe that anymore!! Although, this is what I would like to be doing right about now. With it nice and dark and cold outside....doesn't look like a bad idea! Maybe I should join her!

Ice Skating....

Tatum went to a birthday party today at the Ice Rink in the mall. This was her first time to ice skate since she was MAYBE 2 years old. and obviously, she couldn't do it then, and....not much has changed. I think she was more afraid this time around. She was like a Noodle. She couldn't grasp the concept of keeping her legs straight. She was relying completely on Richard holding her up. She had fun though. We will try it again soon. Richard wants to get her some Roller Skates, then move onto Roller Blades, then maybe she can pick up ice skating easier!!

When we arrived at the party, Morgan's parents handed out t-shirts for all the kids to wear. They said "Morgan's 6th Birthday Party." It was a great idea, because there were so many others out on the ice, we were able to pick out who was part of the party easily.

Look What My Husband Bought Me Today....

Isn't he sweet!?!? I LOVE IT! It's so much bigger than my jeep, I can't even reach back and buckle Tatum's seat belt! Guess it's time she learns herself!!!
